Chasing the Wind

Experimental documentary, 5:45, 2023. The film explores trauma and the fragility of memory, connoted by optical (camera and projection lens) distortions, using footage the artist shot of the devastation that Hurricane Ian caused to her home city, Ft. Myers, FL. All of the visual effects are created by multiple recordings of projections, optics and light, and not from using post production software.
